I
tried a new technique today, and I wasn't too thrilled with the result.
I saw a great video where the blogger used striping tape to create a
really cute geometric mani. In the past, I've typically just freehanded
it, but the tape created such crisp lines that I had to try it at least
once.
The end result was a little sloppy, probably because the top coat took off the metallic sheen from the tape. I'm not crazy about this one and think it would actually be a lot cuter using a striping brush.

For the base color, I used two coats of Essie Borrowed and Blue. The smaller squares are China Glaze Light as Air, which is a really soft, pale lavender.
