I rediscovered a bottle of nude polish, OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh?,
that I'd only used once to swatch back when we started this blog. I
really loved the color this time around -- it's a creamy beige that only
needed two coats for full opacity and it applied really smoothly. I
wanted to do a jazzed up colorful french tip, so instead of a
traditional french tip pattern, I decided to go for a diagonal line in
black.
I
actually started out just using the gold striping tape to help guide my
line, but ended up liking the look a lot. When the polish dried, I
reapplied fresh tape over the mani for a metallic edge to the neutrals.
